Sennheiser HD650 vs Hifiman HE500

Was contemplating strongly trying headphones and a USB valve amp to match. Was contemplating the two cans above. Has anyone had experience with either and be willing to share their impressions.
I'd like comments around the comfort level, finish and more importantly the ski d.

From reviews these bith seem quite well received, but I tend to trust Forumites opinions
