I dont know if this is the right place to put a short review but lets go anyway.
I finally had the opportunity to listen [member=15182]Air[/member] Vivace speaker (link below) a week ago that was paired with the Shindo Montille, a 20w power amplifier. I have never owned a tube amp, couple of SS, Class D and current owner of a locally made 100w Hybrid that needs no intro.
I must say that from the second the music started playing i was gobsmacked, the mid range detail is brilliant and the highs are so sweet. On the bass it is fast and deep never boomy. What really shocked me is the soundstage its wide and and some point felt like the soundstage enveloped me. The combo of the Shindo and the Vivace literally draws you into the music.
I listened to a 200w beast earlier on and there is no comparison to how the Shindo delivered the music, maybe one day i can get my hands on that combo but for now my Hybrid will have to suffice.
Even the Proac D2R (ribbon) bookshelf connected to the Shindo was a good pairing, soundstage stage not as vast and at no time did the ribbon tweeter sound harsh as they can when not paired correctly.
