There is a persistent message on the screen that updated are due, and one of them is Sierra 10.12.6. I have tried to do the update via the App Store 3 times, it fails. I downloaded the update manually 3 times. The first one said "Checksum error" so I downloaded it again, twice
On doing a restart after running the .dmg file, the computer reported "macOSsierra failed". I went to Digicape and after a battle, got a copy of the update file on a USB stick. It still fails
Digicape now want to replace the logic board for R14k. Their tech said that if the update fails, the computer is on its way out
