I have been inside already to dismantle all the auto gubbins, those bits left are to switch it on and off with the arm movement.

Aqualung just did one of these and it gave me the push to pull finger and I needed to extend the ground wire anyway, couple of questions:

I'm presuming this is a 47uF cap? The service manual says there should be a 0.01uF capacitor here though?

This is the underside of the spindle, what will happen if I undo that screw? The spindle turns nice and smoothly, is it worth re-lubricating anyway? If so how and what with?

Are these just naked carbon variable resisitors? Safe to clean with contact cleaner?

Unfortunately I'm getting a bit of rumble from the motor, it's quite loose on these rubber washer things should I replace them, and what with?

If re-capping and everything doesn't sort the rumble what could it be? There's a little black box that looks like a transistor or voltage regulator on the PCB at the side of the motor labelled "D647 H" any idea what it is or if it could cause a problem?  This is the motor, anyone got a working spare if I need?

Is there anything else I should do while I'm in here?
