My house was built in The 1970's when many homes got beautiful parquet flooring. My last house had that but this one has these stone floors. they tend to crumble and give off flakes especially now that they are in their fourth decade. To chop out and replace will be too expensive. Should I carpet or just seal them with that varnish like stuff?
