I'm on my service provider's highest anti-spam level but sly crap still gets through once or twice a day and the persistence and tricks to bedonner the unwary surprises.
The latest crap are not 'loans offered @ 2%', not phising banks I don't bank with or sobstories from cancer-ridden Nigerian bisexuals or even lovesick men addressing me as 'darling' but now 'Amazon' wanting me to confirm my order for audio books* and some creep claiming I visited their website and if they could have my bank details for goods I allegedly ordered.
*) The Amazon one worries me. A while ago, I ordered books on Alan Dower Blumlein on two occasions. Have these skelms now also breached Amazon's security measures and hacked into what they sold to individual customers?
As it happens, I'm busy reading "Underground" a book written by Suelette Dreyfus and Julian Assange which is about hacking...
