Hi there,
I am looking for a small amplifier board to connect between a raspberry pi with a DAC and a set of unpowered outdoor speakers. The raspberry pi/DAC combo are about the size of a box of cigarettes so looking for something small as well to maybe incorporate inside the speakers.
I have been told to look at class D amps although not entirely sure what or why, can someone point me in the direction (or advise on required specs) of finding a small 2 channel amp for this purpose? I don't need thumping audio, just loud enough for a braai on the deck!
(Whilst i'm at it, if you can help shed light on the difference between a pre amp, op amp and power amp would be great, very lost and all I read uses heavy tech jargon!)
