Well, I went and bought a new TV.
After much deliberation I bought the following:
AIM 42 Inch LED Panel. (Yes LED)
Wired it all up to the following:
PVR with Kramer FC4 Upscaler (576i)
PS3
Sony Blu Ray
Wii Player
Yamaha RX-V567 Receiver
Reasons I bought it:
3 year warranty (everyone else was only 1 or 2 max)
Official Service agent 2 km's over the hill from me.
Price was only R4999.
All I can say is WOW! It took me about 2 days to set up the picture properly but once done, what an awesome picture!
Anyone else seen this TV yet? It apparently was launched about 6 weeks ago.
