Yesterday I had the house all to myself and set myself up to listen to some music to my levels.
As I sat I thought I heard a strange sound with the music. A couple of times I thought maybe it is just outside noise. Eventually I started to track the noise to my left speaker (Boston VR3). I pressed here and pressed there and it didn't seem to change. So I decided I will do something I haven't done before...open it up.
Looking at the speaker the only logical entry I could see is the plate with the binding posts. So I unscrew it and took it out just to find two cleaning cloths and a little vest of my son. He obviously pushed it all through the rear bass port.
Whilst I took out the offending items I noticed that the cables running to the binding posts looks like the normal run of the mill electrical cable. My problem now is that the "quality" of speaker cable that I use become useless when the signal reaches the binding posts...or am I wrong?
