I need some equipment advice. I tend to loose bigger fish when they come close to shore (carp fishing) I am fishing from an elevated position on a yeti. When I say bigger, I mean carps in the 4kg to 10kg range. I never caught bigger than that before, sadly ;D
What is the best hooks, size, brand, type etc to use to ensure I can land a bit more carps in this weight class?
Currently I use the assembled mieliebomb and braid line combos. They work fine for the smaller carp. But can it be that the hooks on them is too small and thin to reliable keep it hooked to bigger fish?
