About two years ago I bought a solar panel / LED kit from Builder's xx.
After a year the battery would not last the night. Popped in a new 6v battery. Now it's doing it again after another 12 months. I opened it up and nothing obvious seems blown but noticed the solar panel was putting 10 volts into the 6 volt battery. I know very little about these things but I would guess the panel is frying the battery.
Anyone have any comments or advice on how I may reduce the voltage with spending too much ?
