We currently use a 105A deep cycle to power all our stuff at the river. The battery does not get discharged much in a single night but its such a slep to bring it back home just to be charged. No we want to get a solar panel.
What size should we get? The panel's got the whole week to recharge the battery as we do not normally sleep over in the week. Lets say we discharge it to 60%.
Can I also ask, if you charge it with a solar panel, and it takes a week to fully charge it, is the batteries life shortened at all? Seeing that it is said you must charge a battery to full capacity as soon as possible.
Can a solar panel of the size recommended charge this 102A battery to full capacity like a normal charger could?
