I 'accidentally' won this tonearm on eBay... How, you may ask....
I put a bid in a week before the close of sale and a couple of days later I was outbid... I continued to watch the sale and when it came close to the end I put in a bid that was all of ?2 more than the top bid...
With all the things I have bought on eBay I was 'certain' of two things.

[*]30 seconds before the end I would be sniped (as I have been 100's of times before)

Well nothing of the sort happened and I was left as the highest bidder :faint:

I scrabbled, paid and then sold a few things quickly to restore the dented balance on my credit card...
Today the tonearm arrived. What nervous excitement. I felt like a 5 year old on Christmas morning :thumbs:
