I was reunited with a pair of speakers i gave away some 13 years ago. they are still in exactly the same shape as then.
this time round they i am paying a bit closer attention to them as i wanted something for the dining room, not wanting to go with a ordinary speaker i thought these would be ideal for a wacky hifi build. even the amp will be out of the norm
i have a HUGE challenge ahead of me.
I will do the following
rebuild the boxes using existing bracing and hardware
repair all driver, even the one that seems to be fubar
clean all tweeter and treat the cone for futher rot, luckily all of them are in working condition
final finish to be a high gloss, dark metalic red
