Good day everyone, I have S A Claro 6.1's playing on a Denon X4200 AVR. I find certain treble sounds e.g. close miked treble notes on a piano to be uncomfortably piercing.
The speakers are excellent for imaging and microdynamics but seem to lack upper bass/lower mid body when played on the AVR's direct setting but fill out nicely when I engage the Audyssey setting. Playing them on Reference or Flat Audyssey setting makes no difference to the piercing treble. I prefer leaving the Dynamic setting off.
I like to read about other owners experiences with these speakers.
