Sonos Aux in workarounds

Wondering if anyone has had any luck with workarounds for the lack of Aux in on most Sonos products without having to use a Play 5, Connect, Playbar etc?

Very little online except adapting Raspberry Pi's to streaming device which I have pretty much done using StreamWhatYouHear in Windows anyway
