sony 5300 and power amp help please???

Ok so I want to connect just the power amp from the DDW5500 to my 5300ES

It connects with a mini jack input from amp to amp...
The 5300ES has 8 of these for trigger use but non of them seem to speak with the power amp...

Please help as I realy want to get this working???
