Ive sold my SONY S360 blu-ray player to a friend. He has a rather old standard definition SONY plasma with a component video input at best. The last time the player was connected to my tv, it was via HDMI and set to 1080p.
I cannot get a picture on his old plasma, be it through composite or component video, so I can't access the player's menu to change the video output to standard def. I'm guessing the 1080p output setting is the problem.
Does anybody know of a procedure to manually reset the player to standard def output? Holding down the power button for example? Or do I need to change this setting on my tv before hooking it up to his?
