If anyone's buying a Sony BDP-S370, look out for a small red sticker on the box (see pic).
(You won't see this sticker on all boxes.)
This sticker means it'll play DVDs from all regions, straight out of the box.
Not sure about Blu-rays; but that's not really an issue anyway.
