So what I've now established is that there is nothing wrong with the player... the HDMI output transmits video audio as it should. But for some reason, I am not able to get audio via my Yamaha RX-A2070 from the Sony BDP-S490.I've ruled out cables as the potential culprit and tested it on the very same input that my 4K LG player works perfectly on, so the input on the receiver is not faulty either.Could it be a compatibility issue between the Sony and Yamaha HDMI versions perhaps, or is there anything else that anyone can think of that could be causing this?Should I open a new thread now that we know I don't need to fix the player?
