Sony to launch another object based audio format! Why am I not optimistic?

Why am I not over optimistic? Why does it feel like the Betamax/VHS saga all over again?

Anyhow... we have Atmos... we have DTS-X... we have Auro (well we don't,  the cinemas do) ... and now we have "360 Reality Audio "
