Good Day everybody, my first post on AV Forums .
I've just started putting together my Home Theater system. I got myself a set of JBL Northbridge series speakers and a 7.1 Sony Amp (for now). With an extra bit of cash left I want to get myself a nice TV (for about R6000 - R7000). I happen to see the Sony Wega KV-DA29 at Tafelberg for R6000.
Seeing as most of time the TV is used for DSTV (and some gaming), I will stick with the 4:3 CRT, for now.
I would like some comments on the following before I take the plunge.
1) Does this model do PAL progressive, because previous models only did NTSC progressive.
2) Is there a significant difference between PAL interlaced and PAL progressive?
3) Is there any others TV's in the same bracket that is worth looking at? And where in Cape Town can I find it.
Maybe somebody out there has this model and can give some tips.
