I have a room I want to convert to a listening room but I have a flat on the one side. The wall seperating the two is made from those large cement bricks.
My 1st thought is to line the wall with aerolite and build another single brick wall on the inside of the room.
The idea is that the mass of the 2 walls will stop most of the LF energy and the aerolite type material will convert some of the mechanical energy.
The other option is a wood frame with double layer plaster board.
Ideas ?
