Hi guys.
your help will be appreciated.Sound is leaking through our zinc garage door. I would like to limit it, so that it will not
disturb neighbours. We still need to use the garage door, so it cannot be closed off.I was thinking of the following:
2 bookcse frames : ht. 180 cm. depth. 33cm. witdth. 83cm.( that is just the frame). Now to close the back of each frame, what wouls be the best material? Then to fill each frame, what would be the best material(s) so that it will limit sound leakage. I am thinking of also putting castor wheels at the bottom of each, so that one can easily move it out of the way, when garage has to be opened. I am no DIY by a long shot, but this method appears practical?
I am in the North Riding area, near Olivedale clinic. Tks in advance for your suggestions.
