I just picked up the Steinhart and the Soundlabs. Very good kit in its day. Apparently these date from about 1985 and it doesn't look as though either has been molested in any way.

Also appreciate the advice and encouragement Mike. I don't think I'd have bought these if you didn't already have a good pair. Uberamp comes first though, must get that finished. THis stokes the motivation, which I'll admit was flagging a bit!
Guernica - hmmm. No. I think I'll start with a floral motif - one of those big splashy impressionist numbers, cerise on a black background? Make up a dummy frame so I can do a tryptych, scare the hell out of everyone when the wall starts speaking!
