Getting so frustrated. Some %^&* got my email (and other people in our company's email addresses) and is sending us unsolicited emails regarding some conference on mine water. I am not interested, so I deleted it. But he keeps on sending emails. And each email have a 2 MB attachment. He sends it up to 61 times a few times a day.

We have a 2GB email service from Webonline, so by sending these emails to a few people in the company this guy effectively killed that 2GB in one day.
Code:
Traffic:	6 327.83 MB/month used / 2 000.00 MB/month limit

We have called the guy, he offers a legitimate service. We called him and he is very apologetic, as some issue occurred and he cannot stop the emails. How I do not know. He makes use of Vox (
Code:
mailed-by	smtpout6.vox.co.za
) to send out his bulk email.

I have emailed webonline asking for help, and they told me to add this guy to my spamlist (blacklist), which I promptly did. Yet the emails are still coming, and I think it is because of the vox bulk email. I just added it.

Problem is that we pay for every MB we exceed our account. I am not sure about the cost, as we never actually exceed that amount, until today.

Anyone know of the section in the Consumer Protection Act where I can reclaim damages caused by something like this, or what avenue I can take to reclaim this expense (and damages) from this person due to his unsolicited mail ?

Regards,

Morne
