Anybody know where one can buy a SPDIF to AES3 converter - like the Radio Design Labs RDL DF-DFC2 unit (see pic - can't find local distributor or pricing info)
Its for a relatively simple application. I need to feed the SPDIF from a single view Decoder (990 model) to a AES3 DAC input. The DAC is modern, I'm quite sure it will recognise the signal (It also has an SPDIF input but this is already used for a DVD player). So its a simple matter of converting 75ohm to 110ohm. Or am I underestimating it? (There are some circuit diagrams out there to build such a thing that suggest is IS that simple, but I don't want to build it, too much trouble. Afterall, I'm a mechanical oke....)
Or, can anyone build such a thing for me, without completely breaking the already half-broken bank? ;D
Dankie
