I recently made my one tannoy M5 go thud.

Now I know I can take it to the Sage of Centurion for repair, but I fancy to try it myself.

I've searched for a thread on this subject, found nothing.

Can someone suggest a diagnostic methodology I can follow? I have a multimeter and a soldering iron, and after a few whiskies I don't shake too much.

Suggestions?
