There are speakers that are more sensitive than others. One of the differences I have noticed is that the more sensitive speakers are easier to run with less amplification whereas the less sensitive speakers require big power amps to produce what they are capable of.
Apart from this what are the pros and cons of this difference?
My brother has more sensitive speakers than mine but they produce a lot of distortion at high volume levels whereas mine hit the sweet spot at higher volume. Is this the case with these speakers?
