So my analogue setup, record player>pre amp (tube)>power amp (solid state)>speakers
Just changed speaker cable from tricore power cord to chord clearway. All other interconnects are good quality.
Pre amp has just been serviced
I've developed a hiss immediately after changing speaker cables. Any thoughts on why and if there's anything that can be done? :nfi:
Hiss gets louder with volume, but it's noticeable, I can take a dB reading if that would help
