Hi there.
I am starting to look around for a set of floor stander speakers to run with a run-of-the-mill a/v system and also with a stereo tube amp pushing about 15wrms.
At this stage the tube amp is pushing a set of Sony (...yes, I konw :-[ ) floor standers speakers, 90db/1w, very nicely. I have a small/medium sized open - plan type of living room.
I know the best way is to go and have a listen, but if one has a set of Sony's as reference, almost everything will sound better!!
How does one know if the particular speakers sound good?? Or is it basically what sounds good to me??
