My brother have a pair of Epos ES14 speakers which need some "tlc" attention. Although the subwoofers have developed some cracks at the outer surrounds, it still plays just fine. I was lucky enough to source spare sets of both tweeters and woofers from Ebay which are in great cond. These woofers and tweeters were developed and manufactured by Epos in-house in the late 80s /early 90s and very hard to find these days, so I am very lucky indeed to have found these spare drivers
The idea is to have the cabinets restored by replacing the existing damaged veneer with a good quality real wood veneer and then to fit the better condition woofers I sourced from ebay.
Can any of the forum members please kindly recommend a company or person in the Pretoria/Johannesburg area which will do a good job with the cabinets (replacing the existing veneer with new veneer)?
