The Dynaudio Audience 52s are great speakers. For their size they offer decent bass, a clean mid-range and a sweet top end.
They are easy to listen to as well; not fatiguing at all.

I'm just getting curious about how much more performance there is to be had.

And with performance I mean quality of sound, not quantity :

More clarity/transparency, more naturalism/realism. Less boxiness.

So where do I go? What should I consider? Spendor? ProAc? AudioPhysic? B&W 805s? Monitor Audio Gold? Ribbon Tweeters?

Any advice? Budget no more than 12k. Possibly more if I get a good trade-in price on the 52s.

And is this budget big enough? I'm hoping to effect a clear improvement; a definite step-up. Not a subtle change.

P.S. Amp is a Manley Stingray.
