I am looking for a small speaker for my newly acquired Denon D-M38. The speakers have to fit onto a bookshelf in my studywith only 2-4 cm behind them and books on each end. The Denon speakers supplied with the D-M38 are too big and also too bass heavy for the shelf.
Any suggestions?
Incidentally, I tried the Denon with my Thiel .5 floorstanders. Apart from having to boost the treble a bit, the sound is very, very good. Not quite up to Krell KAV300 standards, but good.
