Hey guys,

Got a question, would appreciate some feedback.

The situation is this. I've got a DSTV SD-PVR in the cellar sending a composite signal via kramer A/V  switch to the main lounge. At the AV wallplate in the lounge, I currently run a set of RCA's to a Yamaha RX-V663.

This wallplate can be also be accessed by the study, where my mom now wants another tv. Now, I don't need the 2 tv's to be able to run separate channels. For now, splitting the video feed is sufficient.

How would I go bout doing that? Can I use a simple 1RCA - 2RCA splitter cable? Would I lose too much quality? The Main Lounge panel is a 63" plasma, so quality loss will be pretty apparent. Or do need one of those fancy (read expensive) splitter boxes?
