Hey guys, I just finished watching Johnny Darkos clip

He raises some good points. Spotify doesn't need to support an audiophile community for hi res audio. They have the numbers in subscribers, so what is their game ?
If we call the musicians content creators, and provide them with a platform to distribute their work, and then they to be rewarded financially (cutting out the middle man) is this about to become a new era of music ?
What are your guys thoughts on this ?
