i have had the chance to play around with a dac that does not work in linux
totally leaving me very :walled:
had to resort to windows :stop: nearly threw the dac out the window , So i tried foobar uke:
really not for me .
so i tried logitechmediaserver with local player plugin . i have no idea how to select dac with this :sd:
went back to old trusted squeezelite . The package is old hasn't been maintained but still works .
so go here download the package
https://code.google.com/p/squeezelite/
extract it with winrar or winzip
go to the folder in question
open command prompt run cmd
cd into the folder squeezelite-win
type squeezelite-win.exe -l to get the list of your output devices . the beauty is that they are numbered so just make note of the number mine was 5
so then you type
squeezelite-win.exe -o 5 -n (playername) -s ( ipaddress of your server)
and you got a working
player
