Suddenly today I get an e-mail from the Standard Bank - my monthly statement.
I have never requested, or agreed to statememts by email, and I don't want them.
The serious security concern though, is that suddenly, since last month, they have moved my address from a street in northern Johannesburg (which has been unchainged since I opened the account about 30 years ago) to some street address in George!
I'm very temped to move all my Standard Banks account elsewhere.
Can they be trusted with customer's information and money? I'm rather doubting it now.
