Gentlemen.
Instead of using an old Compaq 17" CRT (excellent colour and resolution support), - was wondering whether viable to utilise the SCART input on a quality widescreen vintage B&O television set . - :nfi:
From the PC side, the connection is a 15 pin D-sub type - > SCART on the television side. (PC also has DVI-D out.)
Would the SCART interface support adequate bandwidth/resolution/signal pins etc to supply adequate video resolution? (reason for asking is have tried an s-video cable [in different setup years ago] and the VGA video output quality definitely suffered.)
