In an ongoing attempt to not only increase the sound quality but also the aesthetics of my part-vintage setup, I recently had a pair of stands designed for the refoamed AR7's I'm currently using.

The final stands have a nice cutout on the back plate to match the connector port at the back of the speakers. They are also quite low above the ground and we designed them to tilt back slightly. This (I think) helps project the sound to ear-level and also looks pretty good.

The final stands were cut from 3mm steel, soldered together extremely beautifully and powdercoated black.

They are, for obvious reasons, not very good at isolating vibrations, so any suggestions for some sort of lining/feet/rubber bits to apply to the bottom and back plates to reduce this would be very welcome.

I realise that these are probably not the best in terms of enhancing sound quality, but to me my speakers sounds absolutely great, plus my whole system is one notch closer to looking fiiiiine  :O0:
