Hi Guys, this is a shot in the dark, but here goes;

I picked up a very nice but "not working" STD305D with a Grace G707 tonearm as spares for another one that I have. As luck would have it, one of the four fuses were blown and after replacement it fired up perfectly! Unfortunately the motor has started to buzz more and more as I've used it and now it needs a replacement. I oiled the bearings as well as I could, but they have become just too rough and from there the lovely buzzzzzz. Unfortunately the motor has no markings on it, and it's a 9V DC motor with a tacho generator which indicates the speed it is running at on the table's digital display. I've searched everywhere and just cannot find a replacement, so here it is... does anyone perhaps have a STD305D motor they would like to sell as spares for my spares?!  :help:

Let's hope and see! Otherwise, does anyone know of someone out there brave enough, that can open up and re-bush one of these little motors?
