After putting my diy sound panel in place, my stereo imaging has improved dramatically. So did sound seperation and to a lesser extent bass response. Anyway, at present my interest is on imaging though.
What else can I do to improve imaging?
Also, the other night, listening to one of the Chesky reference disks, I picked up, for the first time on my system, that the violinists was located to the left of my left hand speaker. Fantastic! Then I started wondering if its just this particular recording. Some of the later test tracks though illustrated the same type of stereo image.
Is this a fairly common thing (in better systems than my own) that the image extends 'outside' the width of the speakers? If so, how do I get this?
Thanks for your inputs guys!
