Stereo or 5.1 Amp

So starting a new project. I have 2 pairs of wharfdale 10.1s. Want to use them in a lounge just for music listening. Question. Do I use my existing Onkyo 313 for this setup and upgrade my home entertainment receiver or rather settle with a new good stereo amp?
