Friend in adjacent suburb has has no Internet at all since Thursday, 5 days ago. The router shows a down speed of 3965 kb and up of 495, but it will not connect to the ISPs server. The login and password are correct and have been verified with Mweb
It will also not connect with the Telkom guest account using the login guest@openserve and password guest
The Telkom tech is adamant that the router must be faulty, so I took along a brand new DLink router, programmed it but it won't connect with the user account nor the Telkom guest account
Mweb say that it seems the router cannot authenticate itself. The line is 100%, it has been working for 18 months
Any suggestions? Been waiting for Telkom techs but they have made 3 appointments but not turned up
