Inspired by DeonC:s thread about the Watts Dust Bug i got to Think about all the
fantastic gadgets that has passed through time in this very special hobby, or way
of Life as it has been to me.
During, what i regard as, the golden age of hifi, late 60:s to early 80:s some fantastic
and abolutely neccessary gadgets turned up.
One of my favourite i got from a friend, Anders Edenholm, also perhaps Swedens most famous
HiFi rewiever/scribbler. He gave me one of these:
A Discwasher needle brush, its actually Camels hair in the brsuh, uncountable, millions of them,
its the best needle brush i?ve ever used, looks good in spite of something like 40 years Daily use.
On the rear side a 10X enlarging mirror, quite handy to check the status of the needle.
I suppose there are some of You friends who also used/remember some of those strange
gadgets that fluorished back in the dark ages, fond or bad memories, pls fill in here.
