It is digital, but sounds better than current digital downloads. It sounds actually better than my original LP's. It is a recent mastering and pressing (BLX Street G8-10145). My old original release can't really compare. It is not fair comparison, as new release is probably better and a rip was made on the turntable/ADC valued probably R300k. Many of us can't afford such expense, care and regular cleaning/servicing. But a good R2R DAC is selling below $1000.</blockquote>
