I'm currently on a project that has some stubborn grain that I need to fill. I'm trying to get a smooth finish, so thought sanding sealer would do the trick. But after 5 layers some of the grain is still there. It seems to be in that sweet spot where it wasn't necessary to use wood filler, but sanding sealer isn't quite doing the trick. Using Plascon interior sanding sealer. Is there any other sealer or product that has better filling capabilities, preferably in a painting finish?
