I have an opportunity to buy the Soekris 1221, and I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a decent R2R dac from them for some time. Currently using SMSL SU8 and have a pair of Sundaras.
I see Fiio just released a K11 R2R version for $169 and reviewers seem well impressed, especially at that price.
Anyone seen that option and is something like the Soekris really going to be that much better? If at all? As you can tell I don’t know the technical details that would make one “better” than the other, would be interested to hear opinions of those in the know.
