Hey guys.
So im considering a new sub build and i do not know which way to go sonosub or box design.
What are the benefits of sonosub vs box design?
I built a pair of subs quite a while back, and i found that if the box was to deep behind the driver it sounded horrific, I then built the box according to manufacturer spec and WOW it sounded good. I remember having the same problem for my car sound days, that if the box was to deep it really did not work.
I plan on using targa 10" drivers again, If i go the sonosub route should i make the internal volume of the tube the same as is recommended by the manufacturer, or should i change it?
Last time i did the winisd thing it said i was good to go with my original box, but in reality it sucked.
Thoughts and advice would be really appreciated.
