I'm currently considering adding an active sub or two to my system. it's stereo and music only. I'm hoping, apart from even better bass obviously, for more flexibility in speaker placement. atm the placement for best bass is not the best for treble.
one of the things I'm unsure about, what's the best way to connect these subs to my system. I'm thinking active crossover, but I have doubts that something like a behringer with a ton of opamps will make my system sound better. any ideas ?
current set up : cdp - nuforce p8 pre-amp - mcalister tube power amp
